Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition in Jan 2023, o2h technology (a business vertical of the o2h group) is excited to launch the second edition of the o2h tech kickstarter competition designed to support seed stage life science, greentech, and tech/AI companies with their MVP, web, mobile app design & development needs.
The first edition of this competition received an overwhelming response. We had over 25 seed early-stage companies who applied, out of which we chose 3 final winners including RouteZero, a Greentech startup committed to decarbonising business travel, Biiah, a Cambridge based early stage startup committed to improving people’s health, and Geromics, a Cambridge based startup focused on empowering individuals to access personalised healthcare across the globe.
All three winners got an opportunity to capitalise on the benefits of kickstarter to hire developers at significantly reduced project start costs and kickstart their app development progress.
o2h technology has been collaborating and supporting seed stage companies through its in-house tech capabilities ranging from front end development to AI, blockchain, automation testing, and more, for many years now. We understand that it has always been a challenge for seed-stage companies to design, build, and scale their applications/products due to various barriers including the high cost of hiring quality developers, access to CTO-level technology expertise, and expert product development knowledge. This initial phase can also be highly time consuming and expensive.
The o2h tech kickstarter programme aims to extend o2h technology’s software/app development expertise to those early stage companies who want to reach potential customers and are looking forward to building MVPs, Web or Mobile apps to kickstart their digital journeys or supercharging existing MVPs by expanding their functionality with additional resources.
The applications will be evaluated by the kickstarter committee including Prashant Shah, Co-founder of o2h group, and Akshay Soni, Head of Engineering & Operations, o2h tech, amongst others. It is a time-limited programme that offers a dedicated tech team including full stack developers and project management support covering dev-ops, design, QA, and project management, to the winners in order to support their tech development needs at the standard cost of one full time developer.
