Coordinator

We’re looking for a coordinator to join the Data Coordination and Archiving Team at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) located at the Wellcome Genome Campus near Cambridge in the UK. In this role you will be leading our efforts in large-scale data management of vertebrate genomics data generated from funded projects and managing internal submissions data processes across the Institute. Responsibilities will include leadership of the data management activities for several international consortia including the 1000 Genomes Project and the follow-on and expanded activities of the International Genome Sample Resource (ISGR). Other data management roles focus on functional genomics data e.g. International Human Epigenome Consortium (IHEC) as well as the HipSci, EBiSC and FAANG projects. Each of these projects has dedicated staff who will be managed by the coordinator.
