To coincide with a joint Canadian High Commission, Canadian Institute for Health Research and the UK’s Health Protection Agency 2-day workshop on Microbial Resistance, we are delighted that the BioWednesday will return to Canada House as part of their programme.
Whilst the emergence of drug resistance provides significant challenges for public health globally, such as multidrug-resistant TB, malaria and Staphylococus aureus, addressing the challenges also represents major opportunities within the Bio- Pharma sector where new, innovative medicines can offer true patient benefit.
We are delighted that we have one of the industry leading commentators, John Carroll, Editor of FierceBiotech to share with us his views on the current state of the industry, recent trends and in particular activity in the infectious disease microbial resistance fields where he has reported on several developments and initiatives.
