The networking reception will be jointly hosted by Norwich Research Park and the Quadram Institute (QI) to mark the topping out ceremony for the institute. This ceremony celebrates the final pouring of cement during the construction of the new Quadram Institute building. Professor Ian Charles, Director of QI and Rt Hon George Freeman will be joining us to help mark this occasion and we would be delighted if you are able to attend.

Soon to be at the heart of a unique plant-food-health science cluster at the Norwich Research Park, the Quadram Institute seeks to provide a step-change in interdisciplinary food and health research and will be housed in a new state-of-the-art building, due for completion in 2018.  It will be home to one of Europe’s largest endoscopy facilities enabling clinicians to work directly with scientists from fundamental research to translational outcomes. This a very exciting development for Norwich Research Park, building upon the world leading expertise already at the Park, home to 3,000 scientists.
